With the only PICU and dedicated burn center in the region, we are proud to provide care for children across Southeastern Idaho, Western Wyoming and Southern Montana.
Pediatric intensive care services
To best assist your entire family during critical times, we provide a range of amenities, including:
- Designated child life specialist who helps you and your child cope with their diagnosis, treatment and hospitalization
- Private room for your child, with an extra bed for you
- Ronald McDonald Room offering a comfortable place for your family to eat, nap, relax and sleep overnight
- Transfer from other health care facilities, including air transport
Treatments we offer
While your loved one is in our PICU, we give them access to the advanced medical attention they need, including:
- Acute, short-term care
- Application of special technology or medication
- Complex pediatric surgical care from a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric surgeon and anesthesiologist
- Level II Trauma Center
- Support from pediatric intensivists who are specially trained in pediatric critical care medicine
- Treatment for chemical, electrical, friction, inhalation or thermal burns at our burn care center
