Ever wonder just how much training is required of emergency responders to maintain their licensing? Like all professionals, emergency personnel keep up on their lifesaving skills by putting in many hours of continuing education each year.

On Saturday, March 1, AEMTs, EMTs and EMRs from around the state will gather in Idaho Falls for the EIRMC EMS Conference sponsored by Air Idaho Rescue.

The conference, in its sixteenth year, allows first responders to hone their skills under instruction from EIRMC clinicians; air ambulance personnel; and regional experts on “in the field” response. The conference is designed to help them perform their jobs better, safer and faster.

“Air Idaho Rescue is proud to be a part of this conference because it offers such high-quality content to the EMS community,” said Jill Egan, account executive with Air Methods, the parent company of Air Idaho Rescue. “It equips first responders with essential information and hands-on experience to keep them knowledgeable of the latest advancements in emergency pre-hospital care. The caliber of the event helps us all provide the best possible care to the people of eastern Idaho.”
